/Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan today transferred Rs 23.22 crore to the bank accounts of more than 41 thousand workers through DBT at Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Board office located in Nava Raipur. In Vishnu Dev’s government, the workers of the state and their family members are continuously getting the benefits of the schemes rapidly. More than 37 thousand construction workers are being given Rs 14.83 crore and 4928 unorganized sector workers are being given Rs 8.39 crore, 28 workers are being given pension and grant amount under Didi E-Rickshaw Sahayata Yojana. In this way, a total of Rs 23.22 crore was transferred to more than 41 thousand workers through DBT. On this occasion, Secretary cum Labor Commissioner Mrs. Alarmel Mangai D, Additional Commissioner Labor S.L. Jangde and workers were present.

During the program, the Labor Minister presented a cheque of assistance amount of Rs one lakh to Jhamman Yadav, resident of Changorabhatta, under the Chief Minister Construction Worker Death and Disabled Assistance Scheme, cheques of Rs 20,000 each to Renu Mishra, resident of Fafadeep Raipur and Deepa Sahu of Udia Society Tatibandh under the Chief Minister Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme, cheques of Rs one lakh each to Mrs Reshmi Bai, resident of Kushalpur Raipur, Lata Devangan of Professor Colony Raipur, Hemlata Sahu of Kota Raipur and Bhuvaneshwari Sahu of Saddu Raipur under Didi E-Rickshaw Assistance Scheme.

On this occasion, Labor Minister Shri Dewangan said that in the government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev, the workers of the state and their family members are continuously getting the benefits of the schemes rapidly. The schemes are being successfully implemented through the three divisions of the Labor Department – Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Board, Organized Workers State Social Security Board and Labor Welfare Board. As a result of this, from January to November 2024, Rs 375 crore has been transferred to the workers through various schemes. Various schemes are being run in the interest of workers under the three divisions of the Labor Department. In this, Minimata Jatan Yojana, Chief Minister Shramik Tool Sahayata Yojana, Chief Minister Naunihal Scholarship Scheme, Chief Minister Noni Babu Medhavi Education Assistance Scheme, Excellent Sports Promotion Scheme for the children of construction workers, Chief Minister Construction Workers Death and Disabled Assistance Scheme, Chief Minister Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme, Chief Minister Shramik Sian Sahayata Yojana, Free Uniform and Book Copy Assistance Scheme for Children of Construction Workers, Chief Minister Construction Workers Housing Assistance Scheme are being operated.
