The MATS School of Fashion Designing and Technology (MSFDT), MATS University, celebrated World Fashion Day by organizing a dynamic workshop on Personality and Self-Grooming, aimed at equipping students with the confidence and professionalism required in the fashion and interior industry.
The program commenced with a traditional Saraswati Pooja and ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a welcome address by Mrs. Parvinder Kaur, HoD of MSFDT. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chancellor Shri Gajraj Pagaria, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. K.P. Yadav, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Deepika Dhand, Director General Shri Priyesh Pagaria, and Registrar Shri Gokulanand Panda.
The Chief Guest and keynote speaker, Dr. Anamika Singh (Mrs. India Medico Diva; renowned Gynecologist; BJP Councillor — Rani Durgavati Ward 49; MIC Member; and State President, Medical Cell — Kshatriya Mahasabha Veerangana), conducted the workshop. Her powerful session highlighted the importance of first impressions, effective body language, confidence building, public speaking, networking, and personal branding. She further emphasized how time management, fitness, posture, and discipline play a vital role in the competitive world of fashion and glamour.
With the theme “Be the Brand You Wear,” the interactive workshop provided students with practical insights into professional grooming, styling, and communication skills — preparing them to seamlessly transform from students into polished industry professionals.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks and left the students highly motivated, empowered, and ready to walk confidently from the classroom to the word of fashion designing.
