These include 08 basic life support and 01 advanced life support ambulance. With this gift, all the services of 108 ambulances in the district will now provide quick emergency medical facilities to all the development blocks and remote rural forest areas of the district.
Addressing the event, Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam stated that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, is committed to providing quality and prompt healthcare services to every citizen. He added that ambulances are not just vehicles, but a vital life-saving tool in times of crisis. Minister Shri Netam explained that the government’s objective is to ensure that mothers, sisters, and children living in remote and inaccessible areas receive timely treatment in case of an emergency. Providing medical assistance to patients during the “golden hour” is crucial for survival, and this initiative is a major step in that direction.

Balrampur District Collector Mr. Rajendra Katara stated that better coordination will be established with the ambulance operating agency to maintain efficient emergency services. This will continuously improve the quality of services and response time, ensuring prompt assistance to those in need. He stated that providing timely ambulance services to citizens in any emergency is the administration’s top priority, and continued efforts will be made in this direction.
The nine new ambulances received by the district have been deployed as needed in various development blocks and health centers to cover the entire district.
