The Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises displayed a tableau themed “Startup – Idea to Scale” at the state-level Republic Day celebrations at the Red Parade Grounds. The tableau was a major draw for spectators.
The first scene of the tableau featured a unicorn, symbolizing the global success of startups in the state, innovation-driven entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. This scene showcases the strong startup ecosystem developing in Madhya Pradesh.
The tableau further showcased modern electric transportation, robotics and automation, mega incubation/innovation centers, AR/VR technology in health-tech, education and skill development, and the growth journey of startups through the stages IDEA → PROTOTYPE → GTM (Go-To-Market) → SCALE. The final scene depicted rapid, sustainable, and future-oriented industrial development through a modern bullet train.
This entire tableau was prepared and presented by the officers/employees of the department under the leadership of Commissioner Industries, Shri Dilip Kumar, through which, while highlighting the role of MSMEs and startups, a strong message of the goal of self-reliant and developed Madhya Pradesh by the year 2047 was given.
