The Ministry of Education announced new guidelines for introducing bagless days for students in grades 6-8 to enhance the school learning experience.
These guidelines, formulated by the PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education under NCERT, were unveiled on the fourth anniversary of the NEP, 2020.
The NEP, 2020, had suggested a 10-day bagless period for students in grades 6-8 to promote a more practical and enjoyable learning environment.
The aim of the bagless days is to integrate them into the teaching process and provide students with hands-on experience, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills for better career decision-making.
