Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026

  This year, the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha saw widespread enthusiasm among students , parents, and teachers. By January 11, 2026, the last date for registration, a total of 29.29 lakh participants from Chhattisgarh had registered on the portal. This figure is 7.16 lakh more than last year , reflecting the growing interest in the program.

               Last year, Chhattisgarh ranked first in the country in terms of registration , while this year the state has secured fourth place after Andaman and Nicobar , Chandigarh, and Lakshadweep. It is particularly noteworthy that this year 1.41 lakh parents from the state registered , which is a clear indication of parents’ increasing awareness about education.

  • First stage selection process

               In the first phase, videos of questions asked by students were invited from districts to select students. By the deadline, videos of 171 students were received. A committee thoroughly examined these videos , after which 18 students were selected and their details were sent to the center. The selected students include 04 from PMshree Vidyalaya , 06 from SEJUS , 04 from private schools , 03 from government schools and 01 student from KGBV.

  • Ms. Srishti Sahu selected at the central level

               The center’s committee has selected Ms. Srishti Sahu, a 12th-grade mathematics student at Swami Atmanand Vidyalaya , Nayapara, Mahasamund district. Ms. Srishti Sahu , her father, Mr. Narendra Kumar Sahu, and her mother, Mrs. Dineshwari Sahu, have been invited to participate in the “Pariksha Pe Charcha” program, to be held in Delhi on January 21, 2026.

  • Response from the administration and school family

               District Collector Mr. Vinay Kumar Langhe met with Ms. Srishti Sahu upon her selection and offered his congratulations and best wishes. School Principal Mrs. Ami Rufus expressed her happiness over this achievement, stating that Ms. Srishti is a disciplined , hardworking, and studious student. She also mentioned that Ms. Srishti had provided leadership by sitting on the Principal’s chair as the school leader on Children’s Day.

  • Family pride and support

               Ms. Srishti Sahu’s father is a government school teacher and her mother is a homemaker. Both expressed pride and happiness over their daughter’s selection, calling it a matter of pride for the family as well as the district.

  • Appreciation of school and departmental efforts

               According to the school principal, all teachers made special efforts to register students for the Pariksha Pe Charcha. The school ensured 100% enrollment, and students were also provided with regular practice , which yielded positive results.

               District Education Officer Mr. Vijay Kumar Lahare and the Education Department heartily congratulated Ms. Srishti Sahu on her selection. District Project Coordinator Mr. Rekharaj Sharma played a key role in ensuring the necessary arrangements for the student’s stay in Delhi were completed within the stipulated timeframe. The State Project Office , Samagra Shiksha, Raipur, also extended its best wishes to Mahasamund district for this achievement.

               The process of selection of more students for the upcoming phases of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 is underway , the results of which are awaited.
