 Project Construction and Implementation Committee meeting concluded

The 70th meeting of the Project Construction and Implementation Committee was held today at the Ministry of the Mahanadi Building, chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Vikasshiil. The meeting discussed in detail the Tamnar bypass road under the Public Works Department, the new Medical College in Kunkuri, and various proposals from the Medical Education Department. 

    In the meeting of the Project Construction and Implementation Committee, a comprehensive discussion was held for the construction of a bypass road in Tamnar of Raigarh district with an actual length of 8.50 km. Its estimated cost is Rs. 152 crore 49 lakh. Similarly, a proposal for the new medical college Kunkuri under Jashpur district with an estimated cost of Rs. 349 crore was discussed. After the discussion, the proposals were passed. In the meeting, the proposal for the construction of a new building of the Government Medical College and the affiliated hospital SIMS Bilaspur was discussed in detail.

The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology Mrs. Shehla Nigar, Secretary Public Works Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary Energy Dr. Rohit Yadav, Special Secretary Finance and Director Budget Mr. Chandan Kumar, Commissioner Medical Education Mr. Ritesh Kumar Agarwal along with officers of Public Works Department, Forest and Climate Change Department, Housing and Environment Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Planning and Statistics Department and Public Health Engineering Department.
