Today evening, under the aegis of Nagar Palika Nigam Raipur’s Employees Unity Association, an event was organized in the General Assembly Hall on the fourth floor of the Municipal Corporation Headquarters and retired Executive Engineer Mr. K.K. Sharma, employees Mr. Ramkrishna Verma, Kanshinath Sharma, Tularam Sahu were honored by Nagar Nigam Additional Commissioner Mrs. Krishna Khatik, Mr. Vinod Pandey, Deputy Commissioner Mr. D.K. Nirmalkar, Ms. Rajeshwari Patel, Zone Commissioner Mr. Vivekanand Dubey, Chief Engineer Mr. U.K. In the presence of Dhalendra, Superintending Engineer Mr. Rajesh Rathore, Retired Revenue Officer Mr. Arun Dubey, Assistant Revenue Officer Mr. Surendra Dubey, Press Manager Mr. Sumangal Upadhyay, Senior Clerk Mr. Hargovind Joshi, Mr. Piyush Aggarwal from Press Department, Senior Superintendent of Finance Department Mr. Mohit and Shyam Soni Ji, their services were honored by presenting coconut, shawl, memento on the stage.
On this occasion, Corporation Additional Commissioner Mr. Vinod Pandey said that it is a good healthy tradition to honor the officers and employees who retired after serving the Municipal Corporation Raipur under the aegis of Municipal Corporation Raipur Employees Unity Association. Which should be welcomed by all. He wished for a long, healthy and happy life of the retired officers and employees. Additional Commissioner Mrs. Krishna Khatik told that immediate payment in all cases of gratuity amount, leave encashment to retired officers and employees is being made regularly by Municipal Corporation Raipur. Zone Commissioner Shri Vivekanand Dubey expressed happiness over the resumption of the tradition of honouring retired officers and employees and termed it in the interest of officers and employees. He suggested awareness and unity of employees for quick resolution of problems of officers and employees. Assistant Revenue Officer Shri Pramod Jaghav suggested giving pension to 100% of retired corporation officers and employees and giving health smart cards to sick officers and employees for quick treatment.

He suggested that the decision to give pension to all corporation officers and employees appointed after 2004 in Municipal Corporation Raipur should be taken by making a proposal at the Municipal Corporation level. He suggested paying remuneration salary directly to the account of placement employees working in the Municipal Corporation who have completed 10 years of continuous service instead of contract system from the Municipal Corporation and giving Rs. 4000 Shram Samman Nidhi to placement employees.

Retired Executive Engineer Shri KK Sharma narrated his memoirs and thanked everyone. Retired Revenue Officer Shri Arun Dubey said that before the formation of Chhattisgarh state, Raipur Municipal Corporation Employees Federation had its own unique identity in the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. He suggested the need to reorganize the Employees Union in Raipur Municipal Corporation. Retired Assistant Revenue Officer Shri Surendra Dubey praised the sensitivity of Additional Commissioner Smt. Krishna Khatik and Shri Vinod Pandey from the stage and said that the sensitivity of Additional Commissioner Smt. Krishna Khatik and Shri Vinod Pandey in promptly resolving all the problems of retired officers and employees is really commendable. The program was conducted and at the end, thanks were expressed by Corporation employee Shri Jitendra Niyal. A large number of officers and employees of Raipur Municipal Corporation were present in the program and the services of retired employees were honored.
