  • Government schemes are becoming a support in promoting girl education.

The positive results of various schemes implemented by the Chhattisgarh government to promote girls’ education are now visible on the ground. Thanks to the government’s visionary policies, public awareness campaigns, and continuous monitoring, the percentage of girls’ education in the district is steadily increasing.

        Earlier, in rural areas, the education of girls was often limited to primary classes, but now girls are bringing glory to their family and district by getting higher education.

  • Saraswati Cycle Scheme has reduced the number of girl students who drop out of school.

            In rural areas, the distance to school has been a major challenge for girls’ education. To address this issue, the Saraswati Cycle Scheme provides free bicycles to girls entering high school. This scheme has increased regular attendance and reduced dropout rates.

Kumari Poonam Gupta, a student at Government High School, Kothali, says that since receiving a bicycle, she no longer has to walk. This allows her to reach school on time and devote more time to her studies.

Midday meal and nutrition programs are also improving the health of girls.

         To promote digital education in schools, smart classes and online study materials are being provided. This is enabling girls to become technologically competent and better prepare for competitive exams.

  • Effective implementation of schemes through continuous monitoring

          The district administration is ensuring periodic school inspections, teacher meetings, and active parent-teacher meetings. Concerned officials are regularly reviewing the schemes, ensuring their benefits reach eligible girls in a timely manner.

         It is noteworthy that due to the continuous efforts of the government, today daughters are moving forward with confidence towards realizing their dreams and are creating a new identity in the society.
