A special prayer and worship ceremony of Goddess Saraswati was organized on the occasion of Basant Panchami by the Central Library, operated under the MATS School of Library Science at MATS University. The program was inaugurated by the Chancellor of MATS University, Shri Gajraj Pagariya, and the Director General, Shri Priyesh Pagariya. On the occasion of this auspicious day, books authored by teachers from the various departments were released following the prayer ceremony.
Dr. Kalpana Chandrakar, Head of the MATS School of Library Science, stated that the Central Library has a long-standing tradition of worshipping Goddess Saraswati every year on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. Every year, special prayer and worship of Goddess Saraswati were performed this year as well.
The program was attended by Heads of the various departments and professors, including Dr. Prashant Mundeja, Chairman of the Library Committee, Dr. Pramod Kumar, Assistant Professor, Dr. Sahityanjali Chandra, Sanjay Shahjit, Lukesh Mirche, and Omlata Sahu MATS School of Library Science, Shashikant Kosre, Assistant Librarian, Central Library. A large number of students were present.
Chancellor of MATS University Shri Gajraj Pagariya, Director General Shri Priyesh Pagariya, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K.P. Yadav, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Deepika Dhand, and Registrar Shri Gokulananda Panda extended their wishes for Basant Panchami and described the event as a commendable effort.
