- Deendayal Yojana proved to be a boon for landless farmer Shivlal Sahu.
The Deendayal Upadhyaya Landless Agricultural Laborer Welfare Scheme has become an important support for farmers. Under this scheme, they receive a one-time assistance of 10,000 rupees, improving the economic condition of their families.
In the life of Mr. Shivlal Sahu, a resident of Semharadih, a dependent village of the Rohina Gram Panchayat in the Fingeshwar development block of Mahasamund district, he explained that he has been supporting his family for years through manual labor and masonry. Despite his meager income, he built his own home and tried to educate his children. He has a son and three daughters, one of whom is married, while the remaining three are yet to be married.
Shiv Lal Sahu stated that he is now using this 10,000 rupee aid to educate his children on graduate studies. Mr. Sahu stated that this amount is very important to him; it is helping his children with their education and laying a foundation for the future. Mr. Sahu added that his temporarily disabled father, Mr. Umendi Ram Sahu, and his younger brother have also benefited from this scheme, bringing relief to the entire family.
Expressing gratitude to the state government, Mr. Sahu said that such schemes provide a solid support for poor and landless families. This assistance not only provides financial support but also inspires self-reliance. Even a small amount of financial assistance, received at the right time, can make a big difference in a family’s life.
