- Home Department tops in performance among ministries
Chief Secretary Vikassheel honored departments, officers, and employees for their outstanding performance in January and February at the e-Office Awards ceremony held at the Secretariat, Mahanadi Bhawan, today with commendation certificates. Those who excelled in ensuring prompt disposal of files and timely attendance through the e-Office system were honored with commendation certificates. In the January departmental rankings, the Home Department secured first place with 92 percent marks. The Social Welfare Department secured second place with 86.76 percent marks, while the Religious Endowments Department secured third place with 86.58 percent marks. Praising the officers and employees, the Chief Secretary said that the effective use of e-Office is ensuring transparency, speed, and accountability in government operations. He urged all departments to continue working with similar efficiency and maintain consistent performance.
Officers and employees who achieved outstanding performance in various categories were honored at the ceremony.
