  • Chief Minister Shri Sai visited the ‘Cultural and Heritage Museum’ of BSS Pranavananda School

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today reached the BSS Pranavanand School campus located on VIP Road in the capital Raipur and paid his respectful homage by garlanding the statue of Bharat Mata and the statue of Swami Pranavanand, founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangh.

Chief Minister Shri Sai visited the Cultural and Heritage Museum located on the school campus. School Secretary Swami Shivrupanand Ji Maharaj gave him a detailed tour of the museum. The Chief Minister eagerly inquired about the museum’s exhibits depicting freedom fighters, sages, and the human welfare work and activities conducted by the Bharat Sevashram Sangh.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this initiative to introduce school children to India’s rich history and the contributions of sages, great thinkers, religious leaders and freedom fighters is highly commendable. He said that India’s civilization and culture are ancient, rich and glorious, which our sages, scholars and great men have further enriched with their knowledge, penance and sacrifice.

The Chief Minister said that connecting the new generation with our history, culture, and spiritual traditions is essential. This helps children develop a sense of pride in their nation, culture, and values. He added that this museum, established by BSS Pranavananda School, will serve as an inspirational medium to connect future generations with our religion, scriptures, culture, and traditions.

On this occasion, the school secretary Swami Shivrupanand Ji Maharaj honoured Chief Minister Shri Sai by presenting him a shawl and a memento.

It is noteworthy that BSS Pranavananda School has installed statues of India’s great sages, freedom fighters, and eminent personalities who contributed in various fields, along with information about their lives and works. These include Maharishi Ved Vyas, Brahmarishi Vishwamitra, Sushruta, Kanada, Aryabhatta, Ramanujacharya, Swami Vivekananda, Raja Rammohan Roy, Prithviraj Chauhan, Rani Lakshmibai, Khudiram Bose, Maharishi Dayananda, and Bhagwan Birsa Munda, among many other great figures.

Principal Mrs. Anandita Ghosh, teachers and a large number of students were present on this occasion.
