Under the guidance of Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, the process of action in the case of excavation and illegal transportation of minor minerals in Raipur district is continuing. Under the direction of Deputy Director Minerals Mr. KK Golghate, a team of mineral officers is raiding different areas and taking action against those involved in illegal excavation and transportation.
Mineral Department supervisor Sunil Dutt Sharma and his team recently seized a submarine-like machine, a chain mountain and a Hiva involved in illegal sand mining in Gudguda village of Arang area and handed them over to Arang police station. Earlier, this team had seized three tractors and a Hiva carrying illegal sand from Kurud village near Arang and handed them over to Gidhpuri police station. In this action, supervisor Shri Belchandan, DK Sahu and soldiers Rupesh Chandrakar, Raju Barman, Golu Verma, Kedar Verma, Lukesh Verma, Prem Kurre and police personnel helped.
