- Unique initiative of Anganwadi workers of Mahasamund and beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan
On this holy festival of Rakshabandhan, the sisters of Mahasamund have set a unique example. Anganwadi workers and mothers and sisters who are beneficiaries of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana have made rakhis with their own hands and sent them to the brave soldiers guarding the borders of the country. Along with these rakhis, the sisters have also sent emotional letters, in which they have expressed love, respect and gratitude towards their brave soldier brothers.
It is noteworthy that on this holy festival of Rakshabandhan, when Rakhis will be sent from every corner of the country, then these Rakhis from Mahasamund will be special for the soldiers. Because not only is there a thread in them, but the true love and respect of the mothers and sisters of Chhattisgarh is also tied in them.
Mrs. Rakhi Dubey, Anganwadi worker of Mahasamund Urban Sector 01, said that this is not just a Rakhi, but a thread of trust that connects us with our soldier brothers. The sisters said that Raksha Bandhan should be celebrated not only at home but also with the soldiers deployed on the borders, because they are the real protectors. When this Rakhi is tied on the wrists of the soldiers, they will also feel connected to their family.
On this occasion, Ward No. 10 Councilor Mr. Makhan Patel, former councilor Mrs. Shobha Sharma, District Program Officer of Women and Child Development Department Mr. T.
