The General Administration Department of Chhattisgarh Government today organized a one-day virtual hand-holding workshop for preparing the Departmental Capacity Building Plan (CBP) on the iGOT (Government Online Training) platform in the fifth floor auditorium of the Secretariat, Mahanadi Bhawan, Naya Raipur. Nodal officers of various departments of the state government participated in this workshop. In the workshop, experts from the Capacity Building Commission, New Delhi, through video conferencing, provided training and guidance to the officers regarding the process of preparing the CBP, assessment of training needs and preparation of a framework for skill development of the employees.
The main objective of the workshop is to prepare a systematic training plan for increasing the efficiency and capacity of the officers and employees working in various departments of the state, so that the functioning of the government can become more effective and result-oriented. During the programme, the nodal officers of the departments were given detailed information regarding preparation of departmental capacity building plan on the basis of departmental work allocation details, organogram, annual report and related rules/acts. The officers of the General Administration Department informed that this important initiative has been taken under Mission Karmayogi through iGOT platform to improve the quality of government services and strengthen administrative efficiency.
