Union Budget 2026: A decisive step towards education, employment and self-reliant India – School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav

Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and presented by Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Budget 2026 is a historic initiative towards the country’s holistic, inclusive, and sustainable development. This budget will prove to take the country to new heights in important sectors such as education, employment, technology, health, village industries, tourism, and infrastructure. School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav said that this budget is public welfare-oriented and development-oriented, realizing the resolve of a self-reliant India.

Reacting to the Union Budget, School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav welcomed the budget and said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and presented by Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, this budget will bring revolutionary changes in the education sector. He said that this budget lays a strong foundation for a bright future, quality education, and equal opportunity for children.

Minister Shri Yadav said that the provisions made for school education in the Union Budget are highly commendable. Along with promoting education, provision has been made for the construction of hostel buildings in every district headquarters to prevent child drop-outs. This will ensure quality education for children from remote, rural, and underprivileged areas and effectively control the problem of lack of education. 

The School Education Minister stated that the budget presents a strong roadmap to prepare youth for the future by prioritizing artificial intelligence (AI), new technology, and skill development. Furthermore, promoting AI-based health innovation will provide new direction to both technical education and healthcare services. He stated that this budget is a powerful example of inclusive development. The special incentives given to the handloom and handicraft sector will directly benefit over 700,000 handloom workers and their families in Chhattisgarh, strengthening the rural economy.

Minister Shri Yadav stated that the Union Budget includes provisions for the development of 20,000 new tourist centers, high-tech training for 10,000 tourist guides, seven new waterways, seven rail corridors, and the establishment of five Ayurveda-based AIIMS. These plans will lead to widespread economic, social, and health development in Chhattisgarh and the entire country, and create new employment opportunities. Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman for this historic budget, he said that this budget will certainly take Chhattisgarh and the entire country to new heights of progress.
