The Nyota Bhojan program, organized under the Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Yojana (Primary and Secondary Schools) at Damuj in Korea district, became a celebration of inspiration and encouragement for the children. Organized under the direction of Collector Mrs. Roktima Yadav, the program not only provided nutritious food to the students but also honored their academic talents. District Education Officer Mr. Jitendra Gupta assessed the students’ academic abilities and encouraged them by rewarding those who performed well.
During the program, the District Education Officer inspected the school and reviewed the students’ academic performance. He had the primary school students read textbooks and tested their learning abilities by asking them to recite math tables. The students confidently demonstrated their talents, captivating everyone present.
Fourth-grade student Virat and fifth-grade student Sankalp Tiwari demonstrated their mathematical prowess by reciting tables up to 35. Meanwhile, Chuleshwari, an eighth-grade student from the secondary school, impressed everyone by reciting tables up to 25. Impressed by the children’s excellent performance, the District Education Officer honored them and encouraged them to continue working hard and strive for excellence.

The school teachers also played an important role in encouraging the students. With the help of primary school teachers Maan Sai Rajwade and Sudip Choubey, ties, belts, notebooks, and pencils were distributed to the students. Meanwhile, secondary school teachers Shailesh Kumar and Umesh Kumar Pandey provided pens and notebooks to the students. This initiative instilled new energy and confidence in the students toward education.
- An inspiring example of community participation
Officials, public representatives, parents, and students shared a meal at the Nyota Bhojan program. The school campus was filled with warmth, participation, and social harmony. The program conveyed the message that, along with quality education, social participation is an important foundation for children’s overall development.
Block Education Officer Shri Arvind Singh, Sarpanch Sushila Sonpakar, Assistant Block Education Officer Shri Hemant Rajwade, Lance Naik Shri Mahesh Mishra along with Arjit Tirkey, Dinesh Kumar, Babulal Yadav, Harichand Rajwade, Ramdev, Ramdhar and a large number of villagers and parents were present in the program.
The program’s objective was to motivate students toward quality education, strengthen collaboration and partnership between the school and the community, and foster a positive learning environment for children. Guests and parents present praised this innovative initiative and extended their best wishes to the school family.
