Chief Minister Dr. As a result of the sensitive leadership of Mohan Yadav and the special efforts and far-sighted thinking of Mrs. Krishna Gaur, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Vimukt, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Department, Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to conduct a scientific and comprehensive survey of the nomadic and semi-nomadic classes. The main objective of this historic initiative is to accurately identify the marginalized families of the society and integrate them into the mainstream of public welfare schemes of the government with full respect.
- Instructions regarding ground review and time period of survey work
Director Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Department Mr. Buddesh Vaidya received point-by-point information about the survey process, data collection and ground experiences from the dedicated surveyors of Jan Abhiyaan Parishad and local women during the dialogue program organized in Mahu Ki Lal G Ki Basti. Expressing satisfaction over the quality of the survey work, he directed the survey team to complete the survey work promptly with full transparency, sensitivity and authenticity, so that the next phases of the scheme can be expedited.
- Self reliance of women, Special Force on Self Help Groups and Self Employment
Underscoring the strong role of women in community upliftment, Director Mr. Vaidya directed that self-help groups should be formed on the basis of priority to make the women of the settlement economically independent. Along with this, he instructed to execute the action plan in a timely manner to connect women with skill development and means of livelihood and employment at the local level and to reach them 100 percent benefit of the departmental schemes. The community leaders and local women expressed their heartfelt thanks for this inclusive and welfare initiative of the state government and expressed their commitment to provide full cooperation in the survey work.
