- ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service Pledge Campaign) being observed to mark the completion of 25 years of service by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi
The ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is being organized from September 17 to October 17 to commemorate the proud occasion of the nation’s esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi completing 25 years of service in public life. The campaign will kick off on September 17 with the ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’ (Lamp of Blessings) initiative. The main event is scheduled to take place at the Bhadrakali Mata Temple complex in the district headquarters, Bemetara. Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection, will attend the event as the chief guest.
The Bemetara district administration has made preparations for a grand lighting ceremony involving 5,000 earthen lamps at the temple complex. Additionally, lamps will be lit across all 336 Gram Panchayats, government buildings, ‘Amrit Sarovars’ (rejuvenated water bodies), schools, Anganwadi centers, and urban local bodies in the district, as well as in every household across 27 specifically identified Gram Panchayats. A total of over 6 lakh lamps will be lit throughout the district. The district administration has appealed to all public representatives, officials, employees, and residents to participate in this noble event and light the ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’ in their own homes as well.
