A well-nourished Chhattisgarh is being realised through the resolve to serve.

The spirit of the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,” being launched to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life, is reaching every segment of society through public participation and service. A meaningful initiative of this campaign, the “Angan Milan Utsav,” is reaching Anganwadi centers in villages. Various programs related to the Prime Minister’s 25 years of public service have also been officially highlighted.

The Angan Milan Utsav is not just an event, but a celebration of society’s collective responsibility for the healthy present and bright future of children. Honoring beneficiaries of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana at village Anganwadi centers, and honoring the Didi’s, Mitanins, and Anganwadi workers who play a crucial role in bringing children out of malnutrition, imbues this initiative with a sense of service and respect.

The participation of senior citizens and public representatives from the village makes this event even more intimate. Providing children and women with useful tips for nutrition and a healthy life, they connect the experiences of the previous generation with the future of the new generation.

The rangoli depicting nutrition, created from grains during the festival, is not only an expression of art, but also conveys the message that nutritious food available in our homes and fields is a strong foundation for a healthy life. The message of nutrition is also being easily and effectively conveyed to the public through cultural programs presented by children.

In this sequence, the Annaprashan programme symbolizes a new beginning of nutrition in the life of the newborn, while the Godh Bharai programme awakens a sense of social responsibility towards motherhood, maternal health and care of the future generation.

In fact, nutrition isn’t just a matter of adequate food. It’s a comprehensive commitment involving maternal health, child nutrition, family awareness, and societal participation. When Anganwadi workers, Mitanins, self-help group didis, public representatives, senior citizens, and rural communities come together to address children’s nutrition, the spirit of service becomes visible on the ground.

The foundation of tomorrow’s developed society lies in the healthy bodies of today’s children. Therefore, raising awareness against malnutrition, caring for maternal and child health, and promoting healthy nutrition practices is truly the greatest investment we can make for future generations. This is the true picture of service resolution—where there is respect, participation, and a commitment to a healthy future for future generations.
