Fifteen members of the railway family—including an Assistant Divisional Engineer and an Assistant Divisional Operations Manager—working across various departments of the South East Central Railway (Bilaspur Division) are retiring in September 2026 after completing their distinguished service.
A farewell ceremony was held at the Divisional Personnel Conference Hall to honor the retiring employees. During the event, Divisional Personnel Officer Shri U.S.S. Rao and Assistant Personnel Officer Shri Bhaskar Guha presented the retiring officers and staff with documents related to their settlement payments, certificates of appreciation for their service, and service medals. Additionally, Chief Office Superintendent (IT) Shri Sevak Rajak briefed the retiring employees on the rules regarding ‘UMID’ cards (medical facilities) and settlement procedures.
Family members of the retiring personnel, Welfare Inspectors, and staff from the Personnel Settlement Section were present on this occasion.
The 15 retiring members of the railway family include 3 employees from the Operations Department, 5 from the Engineering Department, 3 from the Electrical Department, 1 from the Mechanical Department, 2 from the Signal & Telecommunication Department, and 1 from the Personnel Department.
On this occasion, the officers congratulated all the retiring employees on their distinguished service and wished them good health and a long life.
