Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid respectful homage today at Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi by offering floral tributes to the portraits of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and the late former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on the occasion of their birth anniversaries.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated that Mahatma Gandhi conveyed a message of peace and harmony to the entire world while walking the path of truth, non-violence, and humanity. His ideas embodied the spirit of an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-reliant India) and the welfare of the last person in society. His life inspires us to fulfill our obligations towards society and the nation while remaining steadfast on the path of truth.

Remembering the late former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, Chief Minister Shri Sai remarked that his life of simplicity, resolute leadership, and dedication to the nation serves as a source of inspiration for every Indian. The slogan ‘Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan’ (Hail the Soldier, Hail the Farmer) given by him underscores the invaluable contribution of our soldiers and farmers to the country’s security and prosperity.

Chief Minister Shri Sai added that the lives and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri inspire us to move forward continuously on the path of public welfare, good governance, and service to the nation.
