 Honor of service, respect of sanitation workers: Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Aggarwal expressed his gratitude by giving gift and citation.

As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, sanitation workers playing a vital role in maintaining good sanitation in the Nagar Panchayat Lakhanpur of Surguja district were honored. The sanitation workers were presented with gifts and certificates to express gratitude for their dedication and service.

On this occasion, Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agarwal said that the foundation of a clean and healthy society rests on the tireless work of our sanitation workers. Before the majority of urban and rural populations even begin their day, sanitation workers are busy cleaning roads, streets, and public spaces. Their work is not just a means of livelihood, but a vital service linked to the health and well-being of society.

Mr. Agarwal said that sanitation workers perform their duties in all weather conditions and under many difficult circumstances. Their contribution to maintaining the city’s cleanliness, beauty, and the health of its citizens is crucial. It is society’s collective responsibility to show respect for their labor and service.

He said that the aim of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is to further strengthen the spirit of service, participation, and responsibility in society. Those who work hard every day to keep our surroundings clean deserve recognition and respect for their services. Honoring sanitation workers not only expresses gratitude for their work but also sends a message of respect for labor in society.

Mr. Agarwal said that we get a clean environment because of the hard work of those who clean our streets and public places before the first rays of the morning. Respecting their service is the true spirit of service. We should respect sanitation workers and also fulfill our responsibility for cleanliness at our own level.

He appealed to citizens to refrain from littering in public places, cooperate with sanitation systems, and make cleanliness a part of daily life. He said that the goal of a clean city cannot be achieved solely through the efforts of sanitation workers; every citizen must understand their responsibility.
