Under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service Pledge Campaign), a block-level painting and speech competition-cum-exhibition, along with a one-day workshop for teachers, was organized at the Government High School in Panchpara, Pusaur block, Raigarh district. Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA Shri O.P. Chaudhary attended the event. He viewed the exhibition of paintings created by the students and interacted with them to learn about their talents, interests, and future goals. Appreciating the students’ creativity, he encouraged them to work hard consistently and remain dedicated to their objectives.
Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary honored the students who performed exceptionally well in the competitions by presenting them with certificates and mementos. He remarked that numerous opportunities for advancement lie ahead for students; with the right guidance at the right time and through hard work, they can achieve their goals.

Addressing the gathering, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary highlighted the opportunities available in the fields of school and higher education in Chhattisgarh. Mentioning facilities in Raigarh such as the nursing college, music college, and Nalanda Campus, he urged students to make the most of these resources. He advised students to set goals aligned with their interests and capabilities and to move forward accordingly.
- Children Give Color and Voice to the Vision of ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’
Students selected from school clusters across primary, middle, high, and higher secondary levels within the block participated in the competition. Students presented their vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’ (Developed India 2047) through drawings. They expressed their creative thinking and imagination using colors across various themes. Students also confidently articulated their views during the speech competition.
In the primary level drawing competition, Sanjana Prajapati secured first place, Roshni Chauhan second, and Paridhi Chauhan third. In the speech competition, Fatima Mahant stood first, Kumkum Shrivas second, and Pooja Chauhan third.
In the middle school level drawing competition, Prachi Mehar secured first place, Mithila Patel second, and Bhumika Nishad third. In the speech competition, Meenakshi Sahu stood first, Shibika Kumari second, and Mahima Gupta third.
In the high school and higher secondary level drawing competition, Garima Patel secured first place, Niyati Pradhan second, and Yogesh Sanjay third. In the speech competition, Tushar Chauhan stood first, Princy Patel second, and Ruchi Chaudhary third. All winning participants were honored with certificates and mementos.
- Teachers to Play a Crucial Role in Preparing Students for Competitive Exams
A special workshop was organized during the event for teachers instructing classes 5 and 8. Teachers received guidance on preparing Class 5 students for exams such as Navodaya, Eklavya, Jawahar Utkarsh, and Sainik School, and Class 8 students for exams like Prayas, the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam, and SHRESHTA.
Expert teachers provided information regarding competitive exam preparation, study strategies, and systematic student preparation. The workshop aimed to provide students with better guidance for competitive exams right from the elementary level through their teachers and to connect them with available educational opportunities. Former MLA Mr. Vijay Agrawal, Zila Panchayat member Smt. Bhagyawati Dol Narayan, and Collector Mr. Mayank Chaturvedi were present at the event, along with CACs from all clusters, the Principal of High School Panchpara, and the teaching staff.
