- First Lady of the State, Smt. Rani Deka Kakoti, presents a traditional Chhattisgarh Kosa saree
At the Lok Bhawan, Governor Shri Ramen Deka presented a replica of the Hill Myna—the state bird of Chhattisgarh—to President Smt. Droupadi Murmu as a token of honor. On this occasion, the First Lady of the State, Smt. Rani Deka Kakoti, presented a renowned Chhattisgarh Kosa saree to the President.

In return, President Smt. Murmu gifted a piece of art, featuring a distinct style, to Governor Shri Deka as a memento. These tokens served to honor Chhattisgarh’s unique cultural identity and traditional arts. While the Hill Myna symbolizes the state’s natural heritage, the Kosa saree represents Chhattisgarh’s rich weaving tradition and craftsmanship.
