- About Carbide Guns
Acetylene gas, which is released from calcium carbide when it comes into contact with water during the use of a carbide gun, is highly flammable and can explode even with a small spark. This explosion can send out tiny plastic and metal particles, severely injuring the eyes, face, and skin. Burning acetylene gas can cause burns or fire. Acetylene gas is extremely harmful to the eyes and skin. In this regard, the Department of Public Health and Medical Education issued an advisory in 2025.
- Keep a watch on the storage and sale of firecrackers
In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all district collectors and superintendents of police should closely monitor the storage and purchase and sale of firecrackers in their districts, so that small traders do not face unnecessary problems and the safety of life and property is not compromised. All necessary arrangements should be made to prevent fire accidents during festivals.
- Strictly stop adulteration
In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav issued instructions to strictly prevent adulteration of food items during all upcoming festivals. He said that fake or adulterated mawa, ghee, cheese, and sweets should not be sold. The department reported that 17 licenses have been suspended so far due to adulteration. In addition, FIRs have been registered in 42 cases.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that maximum inspections should be done by running an intensive campaign of food establishments. In case of suspicion of adulteration, take samples of food items and if necessary, take action to confiscate the food items. By forming special teams in the districts, continuous action should be taken to prevent adulteration of food items. In case of suspicion of adulteration, take limited samples of food items and take action to confiscate food items only when necessary. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that no one should be unnecessarily harassed during the process of taking samples and confiscating food items.
