  • OTS-2 performed better than its predecessor.

The One Time Settlement Scheme-2 has achieved remarkable results compared to the previous OTS scheme. The previous One Time Settlement Scheme, which operated from September 2021 to March 2024, included 2,591 residential and commercial properties worth approximately ₹511 crore. During this period, 506 properties worth ₹88.28 crore were sold, representing a sales percentage of 17.27. In the current OTS-2 scheme, 62.5 percent of properties have been sold so far.

Thus, the current scheme has registered a significant increase in sales percentage compared to the previous scheme. This achievement reflects the positive changes in the property sales system of the Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board and the effective results of its policy of providing properties at discounted rates.

  • The decision of the Council of Ministers gave impetus to the scheme
