- District level competition in Bijapur on October 31; top three participants will get a chance to present their views in the Chhattisgarh Assembly.

The youth of the district are going to get a golden opportunity to showcase their talent, logical ability, leadership skills and present their ideas effectively. Under the aegis of My Youth India (MY Bharat) Centre, Bijapur, a district level speech competition will be organised on 31 October 2026 at Pota Cabin Auditorium, Bijapur under Vikasit Bharat Youth Parliament 2027. Through this competition, the youth of the district will get an opportunity to express their views on democratic values, parliamentary traditions and contemporary national issues as well as to showcase their talent at the state and national level.
The top three district-level participants will reach the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Under the competition, the top three outstanding district-level participants will be selected, who will have the opportunity to present their views in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Following this, the three state-level selected Chhattisgarh participants will have the opportunity to present their views in the country’s Parliament House. Thus, the Vikasit Bharat Youth Parliament will provide an important platform for the district’s youth to showcase their talent and leadership abilities, from the district to the state and national levels.
Speech competition will be held on the topic ‘One Nation, One Election’ – The main topic of the district level competition has been decided as ‘One Nation, One Election’. Participants will be able to present their logical and factual views in favor or against this topic. 3 minutes time has been allotted to each participant for giving a speech. Participants can present their views in Hindi or English. To participate in the competition, the age of the participants should be between 18 to 25 years as on 17th August 2026. In case of equal marks of two or more participants during the competition, an impromptu question of 10 marks related to the topic will be asked as a tie-breaker, on the basis of which the final selection will be made.
‘Youth will develop leadership skills and democratic values - The main objective of the Vikasit Bharat Youth Parliament is to develop democratic values, parliamentary traditions, leadership skills, logical thinking and awareness about contemporary national issues among the youth. Through this platform, youth will be encouraged to study topics of national importance, express their views based on facts and participate in healthy and positive democratic dialogue. Mera Yuva Bharat Kendra, Bijapur has appealed to all eligible youth, college students and interested participants of the district to participate in large numbers in the district level Vikasit Bharat Youth Parliament competition to be held on 31st October, showcase their talent and avail this opportunity to represent the district at the state and national level.
