Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang visited Kolar Sports Stadium, Major Dhyanchand Hockey Stadium, and Tatya Tope Sports Stadium on Wednesday to observe the state-level Khelo MP Youth Games competition. Minister Shri Sarang discussed with the players and learned about the arrangements made. He gathered information about the opening ceremony, including arrangements for food and accommodation, transportation, and all the players praised the arrangements.
Minister Sarang visited the venues for the state-level Khelo MP Youth Games, inspected the arrangements, and met with the athletes. He introduced himself to all the athletes, enjoyed the games they were playing, and encouraged them.
Minister Sarang watched the matches between Rewa and Jabalpur in girls’ kabaddi, Balaghat and Narmadapuram in boys’ kabaddi at the Kolar Sports Stadium, Mandla and Dhar, and Shajapur and Narsinghpur at the Hockey Stadium. He also witnessed performances by players from various sports, including boxing, basketball, and athletics, at the Tatya Tope Sports Stadium.
During this, Sports Director Shri Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Joint Director Shri B.S. Yadav along with other sports officials and coaches were present along with Minister Shri Sarang.
