- Instructions given to complete the water supply scheme works in Nagar Parishad Gudh and Industrial Area soon.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla reviewed the ongoing development works in the industrial area of Gudh in Rewa district at the Secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla gave instructions to expedite the implementation of the ambitious water supply scheme in the Municipal Council Gudh and Industrial Area Gudh. It is noteworthy that in this ambitious project costing Rs. 16 crore , work worth only Rs. 7 crore has been completed so far . From this project, 5 MLD water will be supplied to the Municipal Council Gudh and 5 MLD water to the Industrial Area Gudh. With the completion of this project, the water supply system in the Gudh area will be strengthened and the industrial area will also develop.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla said that for the proper development of any industrial area, it is essential to strengthen basic services like electricity , water , roads , and drainage. He directed officials to give top priority to the development works of the Gudh Industrial Area and ensure immediate and effective action to expand electricity , roads , water, and other essential services. He also directed senior officials to regularly review the development works. He said that any kind of negligence in this work is not acceptable.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla said that the overall development of the Gudh Industrial Area will not only strengthen the industrial identity of Rewa district , but will also create large-scale employment opportunities for local youth. The establishment of industries will increase both direct and indirect employment , strengthening the economic condition of the region. He also said that all concerned departments should work in coordination with each other. Present at the meeting were Mr. Chandramouli Shukla, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), along with senior departmental officials.
