Today Korba has worn such a crown of the Golden Book of World Records, whose brilliance will spread not only in the country but also globally. While announcing this world record, Dr. Manish Vishnoi, Asia Head of Golden Book of World Records said that the record made by Korba today is the “rarest of rare record” of the world, I am amazed, this feat of Korba is historic, this is the first time that any record has been cracked by a double margin. He said that the record of getting 7594 signatures on a single banner of cleanliness pledge in a time limit of 01 hour was of Pithoragarh city of Uttarakhand, breaking which Korba has made such a record by getting 15500 signatures in just 20 minutes, which will not be easy to break. The event also received special hospitality from Korba Collector Mr. Kunal Dudawat, Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddharth Tiwari, and BJP District President Gopal Modi. The event was hosted by Mayor Mrs. Sanjudevi Rajput, Commissioner Mr. Ashutosh Pandey, and Chairperson Mr. Nutan Singh Thakur. On this occasion, councilors and public representatives, district administrative officers, journalists, representatives of various social organizations, school students, women’s self-help group members, Municipal Corporation Korba officials and employees, along with the citizens of Korba, provided significant participation.Our Korba will also become number one in the Swachh Survekshan rankings.  In his address as the chief guest, Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan stated, “We are proud of Korba and the participation of its God-like people. Today, Korba has set a world record that will be impossible to break soon.” He stated that we will all work tirelessly on cleanliness to ensure Korba ranks number one in the country in the Swachh Survekshan rankings and bring Korba another significant honor. Minister Dewangan further stated that under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao, the Korba Municipal Corporation is fulfilling the dream of a Clean India envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014. For this, I express my gratitude and congratulations to Mayor Sanjudevi Rajput, Commissioner Ashutosh Pandey, the councilors, officers, employees, and all the citizens of Korba.
