AI-based education begins in Pota Cabins of Sukma

A significant innovation in the field of education has been launched in Sukma district. In line with Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s vision of a “strong Chhattisgarh,” the district administration has introduced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based education in Pota Cabins (residential schools). This initiative is a significant step toward connecting forest students to the mainstream of the digital age.

Under the Collector’s guidance, this campaign was launched at Livelihood College, Sukma. In a special workshop held there, teachers from Pota Cabin schools were provided practical and in-depth training on cutting-edge AI tools. The administration believes that technologically empowering teachers is a prerequisite for preparing students for the future. Through this initiative, advanced educational resources similar to those available in metropolitan areas will now be made available free of charge in remote areas. AI-based learning will develop students’ coding, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. This will equip them with digital skills, preparing them for global competition.

Collector Mr. Amit Kumar stated that the objective is to make students “future ready.” In the Pota Cabin schools, subjects like math and science will be taught in a simple and engaging way through smart learning models and smart projectors. This initiative will prove crucial in establishing Sukma as an innovative model of education.
