Taking another significant step towards strengthening the state’s infrastructure, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade performed the ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a ₹3.80 crore road in the village of Jaynagar-Kasapara, within the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency of Surajpur district.

Under this project, approved through the Public Works Department, the 3.60-kilometer-long road will be upgraded and renovated. The government has granted administrative approval of ₹380.15 lakh for this work. Upon completion, the road will benefit the villagers of the area with improved transportation and easy connectivity.
In her address, Minister Smt. Rajwade stated that the state government, under the leadership of Vishnu Dev Sai, is prioritizing good governance and development and rapidly implementing schemes. She added that better roads not only facilitate transportation but also create new opportunities for education, health, business, and employment. This road from Jaynagar to Kasapara will provide a new impetus to regional economic activities.

Public representatives and local citizens actively participated in the program. Present on the occasion were Mr. Harish Rajwade, Mr. Devdhan Binjhiya, Mr. Ashok Agarwal, Mr. Ritesh Jaiswal, District Member Mrs. Dhaneshwari Sardar, Sarpanch Mrs. Radha Singh, and departmental officers and employees.
