On the initiative of Governor Shri Ramen Deka, a tour of Lok Bhavan, the highest constitutional office of the state, is being organized to familiarize the public with its functioning and to connect them with its official activities. In this connection, students from DPS School visited Lok Bhavan today and had a cordial meeting with Governor Shri Ramen Deka. Shri Deka provided them with necessary guidance for achieving success in life.
Mr. Deka said that student life is a wonderful experience. Only by making good use of it will you achieve success. All life decisions should be made thoughtfully and with a cool mind. There is no substitute for hard work. Not every student can become a doctor or engineer, but there are many fields where they can pursue a career.
A group of 51 boys and 25 girls from the 12th grade of DPS School, along with their teachers, visited Lok Bhavan and learned about its historical and official significance. They were taken on a tour of Chhattisgarh Mandapam, Udanti Complex, Kanhar Complex, the dispensary, various branches of the Secretariat, and the lush gardens located in the Lok Bhavan complex, and were provided with detailed information about these places.
After the tour and observation, the students said that visiting Lok Bhavan was a new experience. They had met the Governor for the first time, and were delighted by the architecture and greenery.
