During Governor Shri Ramen Deka’s visit to Saraipali today, officials of the Red Cross and NCC met him. Under the guidance of Collector and ex-officio Chairman Vinay Kumar Langeh and Anupama Anand Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer Saraipali and under the guidance of Chairman Sandeep Dewan (India Red Cross Society, District Branch Mahasamund) and under the leadership of District Organiser Dr Ashok Giri Goswami, officials from the Indian Red Cross Society District Branch Mahasamund met him.
Everyone sang the Red Cross song and welcomed the Governor. A team of Red Cross counselors and volunteers welcomed the Governor and the ex-officio President of the Indian Red Cross Society (State Branch, Raipur).
- The Governor planted a tree
On this occasion, Governor Shri Ramen Deka gave the message of environmental protection by planting a Peepal tree in the rest house premises under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”.
