Chhattisgarh Tourism and Culture Minister Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, along with MLA Mrs. Bhavana Bohra, participated in the New Shivalaya Pran-Pratishtha and Mahayagna program held at Janaki Van Dham, located in Kuan-Bipatra, in Kabirdham district. On this occasion, he performed the ritualistic abhishekam and worship of Lord Mahadev and prayed for the welfare of the entire inanimate world.

During the program, the entire campus was filled with a devotional atmosphere due to Vedic chanting, religious rituals and the deep faith of the devotees. Minister Shri Agarwal prayed to Lord Ashutosh for the happiness, prosperity, peace and continuous progress of the state and said that with the blessings of Lord Shiva, Chhattisgarh should always remain prosperous and progressive and happiness and peace should prevail in the life of every citizen.
In his address, he said that such religious and cultural events foster unity, harmony, and positive energy in society. These events not only strengthen faith but also help keep our rich cultural heritage alive, allowing new generations to connect with their traditions. Minister Shri Agarwal thanked the Janaki Van Samiti and all the residents of the area for the successful event, saying that such grand events are possible only through their active participation and dedication. He also assured all possible support for the overall development and cultural advancement of the region.

Located in the Kuan-Bipatra area, Janaki Van Dham is rapidly developing as an important religious and natural center of faith. Surrounded by dense forests, greenery, and a serene atmosphere, this Dham is becoming a special attraction for devotees and nature lovers. Arriving here brings a sense of spiritual peace, while the natural beauty delights the mind.
This shrine is primarily dedicated to Lord Shiva. Large numbers of devotees visit during Mahashivratri, Shravan month, and other festivals, further strengthening the site’s identity.
