Repair all infrastructure including roads and sewage before monsoon: Minister Shri Sarang

Cooperation Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang held a detailed review meeting with senior officials from the Municipal Corporation , Revenue and Electricity Departments regarding the pace and quality of development works in Zone 11 and Zone 12 of the Narela Assembly constituency. Discussing each point, Minister Sarang directed that all works be completed within the stipulated timeframe , with high quality, and without causing inconvenience to the public.

  • AMRUT 2.0 Sewage Project: Aimed to be completed ahead of schedule

Minister Shri Sarang conducted a detailed review of the progress of the sewage project under AMRUT 2.0 . It was reported that work on the sewage project is progressing rapidly. Minister Shri Sarang directed that the remaining work be expedited and efforts be made to complete it before the scheduled September deadline. Especially with the monsoon in mind, he urged that excavation and construction work be completed on priority , so that roads and colonies do not become waterlogged or face problems during the rainy season.

Regarding road infrastructure, Minister Shri Sarang directed that a scientific survey be conducted of all roads in the entire assembly constituency. He said that a restoration plan should be prepared for each road , determining which road will be covered by which budget head, and that work should begin immediately after prioritizing it. He added that ” responsibility will be fixed if the public faces inconvenience due to poor roads. “

  • Action on encroachment: Instructions for joint campaign

Regarding the problem of encroachment in Zones 11 and 12 , Minister Sarang directed that illegal buildings , constructions, and encroachments be identified and immediately removed. The Municipal Corporation and Revenue Department were directed to jointly launch an ” Intensive Encroachment Removal Campaign . ” Minister Sarang stated that if illegal construction is found in any officer’s area , the concerned officer will be served a notice and held accountable.

  • Public Welfare Schemes: Zero Pendency and Resolution in 3 Days

While reviewing government schemes, Minister Shri Sarang directed that not a single application should remain pending under schemes like old age pension , Sambal Yojana, and post-death assistance. He said that an IT-based system or mobile app should be used to monitor all applications , ensuring transparency. A clear timeline was set to resolve each beneficiary’s problem within a maximum of three days. He said, ” The government’s job is not just to create a scheme , but to ensure its benefits reach the last person with sensitivity. “

  • Special Fund and Education Cess: Dissatisfaction over delay

Minister Shri Sarang expressed displeasure over the delay in reviewing ongoing works under the Special Fund and Education Cess . He directed that a list of all pending works be compiled and completed in a timely manner. In particular, instructions were given to prioritize the construction of municipal schools in the Semra area.

  • Focus on infrastructure , parks and housing projects

Instructions were given to expedite the tender process for works included in the Municipal Corporation’s budget. Regular monitoring of ongoing works under the ” Kayakalp Yojana ” and ” CM Infrastructure ” was directed. Priority was given to the construction and upgrading of proposed parks in the Narela area. Instructions were also given to expedite the ” Housing for All ” project and to expedite the resolution of pending land allotment cases.

  • Accountability and transparency: information on every site is mandatory

Minister Shri Sarang directed that projects for which groundbreaking ceremonies have been held but work has not yet begun should be started immediately. He called for special attention to be paid to the quality and maintenance of work under the Performance Guarantee. Furthermore , it was made mandatory to display a board at each construction site displaying the contractor’s name , the cost of the work, and the deadline , ensuring transparency.

  • Water , electricity and streetlights: no compromise

Regarding the drinking water system, Minister Shri Sarang said that both the availability and quality of water should be ensured in the area. Citizens should not face water problems, and any negligence regarding quality will not be tolerated. Regarding the electricity and street lighting system, instructions were given to ensure regular maintenance of all smart lights and streetlights. Where necessary , proposals should be prepared to install new high-mast lights and work should be done promptly to strengthen security in the area.

  • Swachhata Abhiyan: Work in ward-wise mission mode

Regarding cleanliness, Minister Shri Sarang directed that all drains and sewers be cleaned regularly. He called for a systematic cleanliness drive throughout the Assembly constituency, and work should be carried out in a mission mode by developing ward-wise plans. Emphasis was also placed on raising public awareness through painting and beautification of main roads.

  •  ” Providing better facilities to the public is the priority of the state government .”

Minister Sarang stated that the government’s goal is not just to create plans , but to implement them. He stated that negligence at any level will not be tolerated, and regular monitoring will ensure the results of every action. He added that continuous efforts will be made to make the Narela Assembly constituency a model area in terms of development , cleanliness , transparency, and improved civic amenities.

Municipal Corporation’s Additional Commissioner Mrs. Anju Arun Kumar , Mr. Tanmay Vashishtha , Mr. Mukesh Sharma , SDM from Revenue Department Mr. Deepak Pandey , Mr. Bhuvan Gupta and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
