On the occasion of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, a new membership drive was launched under PACS.

Alirajpur, April 14, 2026. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Cooperative Department of Alirajpur, under the direction of the Madhya Pradesh Government’s Cooperative Department and Apex Bank, Bhopal, launched a new membership campaign through Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies (PACS). Under this campaign, a target of 1 million new members has been set at the state level.

        A total of 26 committees in Alirajpur district have achieved the target of enrolling 15,000 new members. As per the guidelines received in the video conferencing held from Bhopal, the campaign was started with enthusiasm, in which the new members were welcomed with bouquets and farmers were given detailed information about the benefits of committee membership. Farmers were told that on becoming committee members, they would get facilities like loan facility at zero percent interest, easy availability of fertilizers and seeds, benefits of various government schemes and Kisan Credit Card (KCC) for animal husbandry.

        In this sequence, the campaign was launched at the Bakhatgarh institution through a program chaired by Mr. G.L. Solanki, Deputy Commissioner of Cooperatives, Alirajpur district. Five new members were added in the initial phase of the program. Finally, the institution manager, Mr. Swaroop Singh, expressed his gratitude. Present at the program were Mr. Rajesh Rathod, Field Incharge from the bank, Mr. Rahul Chauhan, Audit Officer from the Cooperative Department, and prominent citizens of the village.
