Following the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, another important step has been taken towards strengthening the road infrastructure in Jashpur district. The Public Works Department has completed the tender process for strengthening the Kansabel to Bagicha road and constructing bridges and culverts, paving the way for the construction to begin soon.
This important 39-kilometer-long road will be upgraded and strengthened at a cost of approximately 290.86 million rupees. This includes road strengthening and the construction of necessary bridges and culverts, making travel safer and easier.
The Kansabel-Bagicha road is a very busy connecting road in the area, where a large number of villagers, farmers, students, and businessmen travel daily. Over time, the road’s condition deteriorated, causing difficulties for people traveling. Now, with the completion of the construction work, residents will have access to better road facilities and the transportation system will become more robust.
This project will strengthen rural connectivity, reduce travel time, and boost business and social activities. Local residents expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, noting that the state government is continuously expanding infrastructure for the development of remote and rural areas.
