Every eligible beneficiary should get the benefits of government schemes – Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma

  With a commitment to making the Chhattisgarh government’s public welfare schemes accessible to everyone, a public problem-resolution camp was organized under “Good Governance Festival” in Jhumka Gram Panchayat, Sarsiva Tehsil. State Revenue and Higher Education Minister, Mr. Tank Ram Verma, attended the camp.   

Minister Shri Verma inspected the departmental stalls at the camp and inquired about the status of application processing. During the program, he took steps towards empowering beneficiaries by presenting them with tractor keys, grant checks, certificates, and other materials.

    A total of 2,310 applications were received at this camp, of which 272 were resolved immediately. A farmer beneficiary received a grant of ₹2.50 lakh for the purchase of a tractor, and checks worth ₹43,000 were distributed to several farmers for borehole mining. Similarly, children were given Annaprashan (first feeding), gifts were given to pregnant women, and Ayushman cards were also distributed.

      Addressing the villagers, Minister Tankaram Verma clarified that the state government is working on the principle of ‘Antyodaya’. “It is the top priority of the government that every eligible beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will get his/her rights. The officials should ensure that each and every application received in the camp is resolved within the time limit.

  • Departmental benefits box

     The administration demonstrated its active participation in the camp, benefiting a large number of people through various departments. Farmer booklets, B-1 certificates, and caste certificates were distributed to students. The Fisheries and Food Department also distributed nets to fishermen and new ration cards to eligible families. The Health and Ayurveda Department also distributed disability certificates, pension approvals, and Prime Minister’s Housing Completion Certificates. The Health and Ayurveda Department also organized a camp to provide free medical checkups to villagers.
Bilaigarh MLA Kavita Lahare, District Panchayat President Sanjay Pandey, and Gram Panchayat Jhumka Sarpanch Dhananjay Sahu, Collector Padmini Bhoi Sahu, along with senior district administration officials and employees were present. The large number of villagers who gathered there appreciated the government’s initiative and registered themselves for various schemes.
