- PPP Appraisal Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary
- Discussions were held on several major projects including Bilaspur Transport Nagar and Nava Raipur Convention Centre, emphasis was laid on simplification of rules.
A key meeting was held today at the Ministry (Mahanadi Bhawan) to strengthen industrial infrastructure and encourage investment in Chhattisgarh. Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Vikassheel, the Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC) of the Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC), under the Industries and Commerce Department, reviewed various projects.
- These major projects will be developed under the PPP model.
The meeting discussed in detail the infrastructure development in various regions of the state through the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. Key projects discussed included the development of a Transport Nagar in Bilaspur, the construction of a state-of-the-art convention center in Nava Raipur, the development of new industrial areas in Dhamtari (Chhati) and Balodabazar (Chanderi), and the construction of a commercial tower and a flatted factory building in Bhilai.
- Emphasis on increasing investment and simplifying rules

Chief Secretary Mr. Vikassheel directed officials to simplify regulations to accelerate industrial projects. He emphasized the need to strengthen the industrial infrastructure and streamline procedures to attract greater investment in the state. He also discussed improving and making industrial park allocation rules more transparent.
- Presentations and departmental participation
During the meeting, Mr. Rajat Kumar, Secretary, Department of Industry and Commerce, provided a detailed presentation on the current status and future course of action for PPP projects. Present at this important review meeting were Mrs. Sushma Sawant, Principal Secretary, Law and Legislative Affairs, Dr. Rohit Yadav, Secretary, Finance Department, as well as senior officials from CSIDC, Planning, and Finance departments.
