‘Inspired by the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade left the special protocol vehicle’

  • ‘Giving the message of simplicity and fuel conservation, Minister Smt. Rajwade took an important decision’

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for fuel conservation, prudent use of resources, and a simple lifestyle, Chhattisgarh’s Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister, Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, has taken an important decision. She has directed that pilot vehicles, follow vehicles, and other special protocol vehicles not be used except in extremely essential security situations until the situation returns to normal.

Minister Smt. Rajwade said that fuel conservation is not just an economic issue these days, but a collective responsibility linked to national interest and environmental protection. She said that public representatives should lead by example and spread the message of judicious use of resources.

Mrs. Rajwade said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is constantly encouraging citizens to embrace self-reliance, environmental protection, and a frugal lifestyle. Embracing this message, she has taken this decision so that government and society can work together to strengthen the sense of responsibility and discipline.

She also appealed to the people of the state to play their part in nation-building by adopting measures such as public transport, carpooling, and fuel conservation. Minister Smt. Rajwade said that small efforts, combined, form the basis for significant positive change.
