The Sushasan Festival, organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, is becoming an effective medium for quick resolution of public problems across the state. Through public problem resolution camps, the benefits of government schemes are now reaching every village and every home. At a camp held in Bada Damali village, Ambikapur development block, Surguja district, a long-standing problem of farmer Shri Ramnath Pando was resolved on the spot.
Ramnath Pando, a resident of Bada Damali village, had been troubled for a long time due to the lack of a Kisan Credit Card (KCC). Arranging fertilizers, seeds, and other agricultural inputs during the farming season remained a challenge. His dependence on private shops and loans also increased the cost of farming.
He submitted an application for a Kisan Credit Card at the Sushasan Festival camp. Agriculture Department officials took immediate action and prepared his Kisan Credit Card on the spot and handed it to him. Upon receiving the Kisan Credit Card, Ramnath Pando expressed his happiness, saying that he would no longer have to wander around for fertilizers and seeds. Essential agricultural materials will be available at reasonable rates from the cooperative society and if needed, loan facility will also be easily available. This will make farming more easy and profitable.
Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Ramnath Pando said that through Good Governance Festival, farmers’ problems are being solved in the villages itself, thereby saving both time and labour. It is noteworthy that the objective of Good Governance Festival is to ensure that the benefits of the government’s public welfare schemes reach the last person. In this sequence, transparent and quick solutions to the problems of farmers, villagers and common citizens are being provided in the public problem resolution camps organized across the state.
