This time on 21 June 2026, a mass yoga practice program will be organized on the theme “Yoga for Healthy Age”. The Chhattisgarh government has completed preparations from the district headquarters to the village panchayat level for organizing International Yoga Day on 21 June. The Governor, Chief Minister, two Deputy Chief Ministers, Ministers, MPs and MLAs will be the chief guests in the mass yoga practice program organized in the district headquarters. As per the order issued by the Chhattisgarh General Administration Department, the chief guest has been nominated for the mass yoga practice to be organized in the district headquarters.
A mass yoga practice program will be held on the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 21st in the capital Raipur, under the chief patronage of Governor Shri Ramen Deka. A mass yoga practice will be held in Surguja district at 7 a.m., under the chief patronage of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. The program will be presided over by Honorable Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal.
As per the order issued, Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu will be the chief guest in Bilaspur, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw in Durg, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma in Kabirdham, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh in Rajnandgaon for the main programme to be organised at the district headquarters on the occasion of International Yoga Day to be held on 21 June 2026. Similarly, Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam in Korea district, Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel in Mahasamund district, Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap in Sukma district, Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan in Kanker district, Minister Shri O.P. in Janjgir-Champa district. Chaudhary, Minister Shri Tankaram Verma in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district, Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal in Jashpur district, Minister Shri Guru Khuswant Saheb in Korba district and Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav in Balod district have been made the chief guests for the main programme to be organised at the district headquarters on the occasion of International Yoga Day to be held on 21 June 2026.
Among the honourable MPs and MLAs who will take charge of the dignified organization of Yoga Day in various districts, MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district, MP Shri Vijay Baghel in Bemetara district, MP Shri Santosh Pandey in Mohla-Manpur-Chowki district will be the chief guests on the occasion of International Yoga Day to be organized on 21 June 2026. Similarly, MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj in Surajpur district, MP Smt. Roopkumari Chaudhary in Gariaband district, MP Shri Radheshyam Rathiya in Raigarh district, MP Smt. Kamlesh Jangde in Janjgir district, MP Shri Mahesh Kashyap in Narayanpur district and MP Shri Bhojraj Nag in Kondagaon district will be the chief guests on the occasion of International Yoga Day to be organized on 21 June 2026. MLA Ms. Lata Usendi from Bijapur district, MLA Mr. Lalit Chandrakar from Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, MLA Mr. Pranav Kumar Marpachchi from Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district, MLA Mr. Punnulal Mohle from Mungeli district, MLA Mr. Ajay Chandrakar from Dhamtari district, MLA Mrs. Renuka Singh from Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district, MLA Mr. Kiran Singh Deo from Bastar district and MLA Mr. Chautaram Atami from Dantewada district have been made the chief guests on the occasion of International Yoga Day to be held on 21 June 2026. Preparations for the mass yoga programs of International Yoga Day are in the final stages in all the districts under the supervision of the district administration.
