Mr. Sampat Jha, the Tree Man of Jagdalpur, paid a courtesy call on Governor Mr. Ramen Deka at Lok Bhavan here today. On this occasion, Mr. Jha presented the Governor with Miyazaki mangoes, one of the most expensive mango varieties in the world.
Describing Miyazaki mango cultivation as a major achievement for the Bastar region, the Governor said that it could not only help increase farmers’ income but also give Chhattisgarh a new identity in the international fruit market. He encouraged efforts to promote the cultivation of this special variety, increase its yield, and ensure effective marketing at the national and international levels.
