- International experts share innovations and strategies
Additional Chief Secretary, Department of New and Renewable Energy Shri Manu Srivastava said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly in the field of clean and sustainable energy and decentralized renewable energy systems will become a means of empowering the rural economy along with energy security. He said that expansion of green energy in the state will get a new impetus through technological innovation, policy support and international cooperation. Shri Amanbir Singh Bains, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited said that successful implementation of decentralized renewable energy projects can be ensured through modern technologies and effective grid management and this will significantly increase the clean energy potential of the state. The guests also released the book on this occasion.
Energy sector experts, project developers, researchers, DISCOM representatives and representatives of government and private institutions participated in the workshop organized in Bhopal on the topic “Advancement of Decentralized Renewable Energy Deployment in Madhya Pradesh”. Organized in collaboration with Germany’s International Climate Initiative (IKI), Department of New and Renewable Energy, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, the workshop focused on strengthening decentralized renewable energy expansion and technical cooperation in Madhya Pradesh.
A comprehensive legal and feasibility assessment report on agriphotovoltaics in Madhya Pradesh was released at the workshop. Along with this, there was extensive discussion on various technical topics including performance analysis of solar power plants, reactive power measurement, relay and transformer coordination, challenges related to 11 KV grid injection and effective implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). In the workshop, experts emphasized on strengthening international cooperation, technological innovation and institutional coordination in the field of clean energy in Madhya Pradesh.
