Matri-Pitru Seva Kendra will be established in all wards
Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang on Friday held a meeting with the office bearers of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Swami Vivekananda, Subhash and Samrat Ashok Mandal and Municipal Corporation officials under Narela Vidhan Sabha in Mantralaya and gave necessary directions after reviewing the development works of the area in detail. In the meeting, Minister Shri Sarang reviewed in detail all the basic issues related to the citizens including water supply, drinking water supply, drainage system, road construction and repair, sanitation and electricity supply in all the wards under the Mandal. He directed the officials to conduct a comprehensive survey of each ward to assess the problems and prepare a time-bound action plan to ensure immediate, effective and permanent solution. He said that any kind of negligence will not be accepted in the development works and every citizen should be effectively provided with the benefits of government facilities.

In the meeting, Minister Shri Sarang said that Narela Vidhan Sabha will be established as the cleanest Vidhan Sabha in the country. He said that cleanliness is not only a campaign but a broad movement of public participation. For this, a special cleanliness drive will be conducted in every ward, street and neighborhood of the Vidhan Sabha. Narela will be developed as an ideal model in the field of sanitation with the cooperation of Municipal Corporation, public representatives, social organizations and common citizens.
- Matri-Pitru Seva Kendra will be established in all wards
Minister Shri Sarang said that Matri-Pitru Seva Kendra will be established in every ward of Narela Vidhan Sabha. These service centers will provide entertainment and mental activity for senior citizens including library, carrom, chess, fitness related activities. So that they can make good use of their time, share their experiences and inspire the new generation of the society with their knowledge and culture. Further, he said that in our culture, parents are considered as gods. Their service and respect is the biggest identity of our society. The Matri-Pitru Seva Kendra will be a worthwhile effort to strengthen this Indian culture and sense of service.
- Infrastructural and social development work will be carried out on a broad scale
Minister Shri Sarang said that infrastructural and social development works will be done on a wide scale for the holistic and balanced development of Narela Assembly. He said that sports complexes, parks and community buildings with modern facilities will be constructed in all the wards of the Vidhan Sabha. Along with this, the restoration and beautification of all the major temples of the area will also be done in a phased manner, so that the protection of religious and cultural heritage can be ensured.
- Regular monitoring of development works
Minister Shri Sarang directed the officials that regular monitoring of the development works should be carried out and that each work should be completed in a quality manner within the stipulated time frame. He said that sensitivity, transparency and accountability should be the top priority in solving public problems.
Minister Shri Sarang said that our aim is to provide quality facilities to every citizen and ensure holistic, orderly and people-centric development of Narela Vidhan Sabha. Our highest priority is to provide safe, clean, convenient and better living environment to the citizens. Narela Vidhan Sabha will be made a national model of development, cleanliness and good governance through public participation and administrative coordination.
