- The smooth functioning of the cooperative society made farming preparations easier.
The district administration’s efforts to provide timely agricultural inputs to farmers are now paying off directly in the fields. Mr. Gend Lal, a farmer from Aveli village in Khairagarh district, is among those who received the necessary fertilizers on time during the Kharif season. This allowed his farming preparations to be completed without any obstacles.
Mr. Gend Lal reported that he received 6 bags of urea, 3 bags of DAP, 2 bags of superphosphate, and 1 bag of potash from the Saloni Committee, as per his eligibility. With the necessary fertilizers readily available, he has begun sowing and crop management on time.
He said that farmers previously worried about fertilizer availability, but this year, thanks to the committee’s adequate storage and streamlined distribution system, they faced no problems. Timely availability of fertilizer has boosted their enthusiasm for farming, and they are expecting better yields.
Under the guidance of Collector Mr. Indrajit Singh Chandrawal, fertilizer storage and distribution are being regularly monitored in the district. As a result, farmers are receiving fertilizers as per their needs and on time. This has not only accelerated agricultural activities but also strengthened farmers’ trust in the cooperative system and the administration.
