The first day of Talent Search 2026-27 for budding athletes of Madhya Pradesh was full of excitement, energy and competition. TT by Sports and Youth Welfare Department. Around 400 boy and girl athletes showcased their talent on the first day of the athletics selection trials held at Nagar Stadium. The excitement of the players was visible throughout the day at the stadium, where young players from various districts of the region tried to impress the selectors with their sporting skills.
- From running to pole vaulting, talents showed potential
During the selection process conducted on the first day, the athletes participated in various athletic events including running, long jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put. The performance of the players in each competition was evaluated by experts based on the prescribed technical standards, so that the best talents could be identified and linked to the sports academies of the department and higher level training.
- A golden platform for sports talents
The Talent Search 2026-27 is not just a selection process, but an important initiative towards bringing the emerging players of the region to the national and international level. The objective of talent search is to identify such sports talents who can be developed into excellent sportsmen by providing modern sports facilities, scientific training and guidance of experienced coaches.
- The enthusiasm of the players is constantly increasing
Under the talent search campaign, selection trials of various sports including judo, wrestling, boxing, fencing, shooting, badminton, tennis, kayaking-canoeing, slalom and horse riding have been successfully conducted. The remarkable participation of sportspersons in each game shows that the enthusiasm towards sports among the youth of Madhya Pradesh is continuously increasing. The large attendance of sportspersons on the first day of the athletics trials also gave new energy to the campaign.

Athletics Selection Trials on 21st and 22nd July 2026 also TT. It will be held at Nagar Stadium, Bhopal. Through Talent Search 2026-27, the drive to identify, groom and provide excellent training to the sports talents of the state is gaining momentum, which is expected to give new strength to the sports culture of Madhya Pradesh.
